Landcare Research scholarship awarded once every three years (first scholarship awarded in 2008). The scholarship sponsors a New Zealand soils, hydrologist, geomorphologist or natural resources graduate to study towards a PhD at a New Zealand university. -
NZ Coastal Society Student Research Scholarships Application Form (Word, 895KB)
The society offers two scholarships annually to students conducting research that has the potential to contribute towards the aims of the society: NZ$5000 to support PHD research, and NZ$2500 to support Masters research. The current emolument of this scholarship is $20,000 (NZD) per year of enrolment. The scholarship
also covers tuition fees for the dissertation enrolment at the NZ domestic rate for the term of the
scholarship.
