Environmental Justice and Air Pollution
International research into environmental justice and air pollution has overwhelmingly demonstrated that exposure to an array of air pollutants varies between different social groups. This environmental inequity is one possible explanation for the observed disparities in health between areas of varying socioeconomic status. This research is examining whether exposure to pollution in New Zealand varies significantly between areas of differing socioeconomic status.
