Indoor Air in and Around Schools
This research has shown that adverse effects on the respiratory health of children are more strongly related to long-term proximity to traffic than to fixed air quality monitoring data or isolated short-term pollution episodes. There is currently no data on particle number concentrations or the effects of air pollution on child health in New Zealand . This research is looking at exposure of urban pre- and primary school age children to traffic-related air pollutants.
