My research interests lie in the development and integration of quantitative geo-analytic techniques for synthesising and understanding crime activity as well as focussing on ways to optimise and correlate the output of analyses with the needs of police and their communities. Focus areas lie in geodemographic offender and offence profiling, and crime policy and prevention.
Other research interests include different types of pedagogical approaches to GIS education, as well as the application of GIS in environmental research.Teaching
